# Profile (/docs/api-reference/douyin/profile)

`GET https://api.insightsocial.app/v1/douyin/profile`

Returns a Douyin creator's profile: nickname, Douyin ID, bio, avatar, follower and following counts, total likes received, video count, region, and verification.

Use it to check a creator's follower count cheaply; use profile/posts for their videos.

**60 credits** per call.

Send your key in the `x-api-key` header.

| `id` | string | no | Numeric Douyin user ID. Provide at least one of: `handle`, `url`, `id`. |
