/v1/instagram/media/screen-text

Returns the text shown on an Instagram post's images, read by AI: the photo, each carousel slide up to 10, or a reel's cover frame, with results per slide.

Use it for text designed into a post, like carousel headlines; the caption lives on post and spoken words on media/transcript. Text shown later in a reel is not read.

100 credits per call.

Returns posts tagged at a place, newest first, about 60 a page, each with shortcode, URL, caption, media URLs, engagement counts, and the author. Use it after search/location for region-scoped posts. Page back in time with the cursor; for a time window, stop once a whole page is older than its start. **100 credits** per call. Re-running the exact same call within 6h is free. Media › Transcript GET

Returns the spoken words in an Instagram video or reel of up to 2 minutes as text. A video with no speech returns 404 with reason no_speech, free of charge. Use it when you need what was said in a video rather than its metrics; pass the reel or video URL. Photo posts and videos over 2 minutes cannot be transcribed. **200 credits** per call. Re-running the exact same call within 6h is free.
