Get Pinterest Trends for a country

List the top Pinterest search terms for one of 23 countries, with rank, search index and change, growing or seasonal. 100 credits per call.

To see what a market is searching for on Pinterest, call GET /v1/pinterest/trends with a country code and a type. It returns up to 50 ranked search terms from Pinterest Trends, each with a relative search index, its weekly, monthly and yearly change, a seasonality score and the date of the list. It costs 100 credits per call, whether you ask for 5 terms or 50. You need no keyword to start from.

Cost

100 credits per call, at any limit from 1 to 50. Pulling all four tables for one country costs 400 credits. Asking for the same list again within 6 hours is answered from the shared cache for 2 credits. Failed calls and empty results are free, and so is a request for an unsupported country (a 400).

FieldWhat it holds
rankThe term's position in the table.
termThe search term.
marketWhich Pinterest list the term came from. It can differ from country: IE reads the GB+IE list, AU and NZ read the AU+NZ list.
search_indexPinterest's relative search index for the term. In this response the highest value is 100.
weekly_change, monthly_change, yearly_changeThe change Pinterest reports for the term over each period.
seasonalityPinterest's seasonality score. Here the October greetings score about 0.86 to 0.88; most other terms score about 0.32.
urlThe term's page on Pinterest Trends.
as_ofThe date of the Trends list.

What are the limits?

  • 23 countries. Pinterest publishes no list for other countries; asking for one returns a free 400.
  • Shared lists. IE returns Pinterest's GB+IE list and AU and NZ return the AU+NZ list. GB alone has its own list.
  • 50 terms at most. limit goes from 1 to 50. The endpoint does not paginate.
  • Not real time. The list is dated: the response captured on 2026-10-14 carried as_of: "2026-10-05".
  • Read the change fields with care. No unit is documented, and in the sample most growing terms show the same monthly_change of 100.01. Compare terms by rank and search_index first.

What can I build with it?

  • Content calendars. Pull the seasonal table each week and plan pins and blog posts around the terms that are coming back.
  • Product and niche research. Filter with include (for example nails, wedding) to watch only the terms in your category, across several countries.
  • Trend alerts. Store the growing table daily and flag terms that enter it or climb in rank.
