Business and creator accounts can publish an email and a phone number. Instagram shows them behind Contact in its app; IGHunter shows them in the panel.
The bio
Many creators write their address in the bio instead, sometimes as name [at] domain [dot] com. Those are read back as a normal address.
The pages the bio links to
When the profile and the bio publish nothing, IGHunter checks the pages the bio links to, like a Linktree or the creator’s own site, and shows what it finds there.

- Personal accounts usually publish no contact, and the panel says so

Yes. The first 10 profiles work without an account. After that, sign in to keep going and to save profiles to your dashboard.
From what the profile publishes: the contact email and phone of a business or creator account, the text of the bio, and the pages the bio links to. Nothing is guessed from a name pattern or bought from a data broker. If a profile publishes nothing, the panel says so.
Only business and creator accounts can publish a contact email or phone, so most personal accounts have none, and a private account shows nothing at all. That is the profile, not a failure. Sometimes Instagram pauses its contact buttons for a while; the panel then says it could only check the bio, and a later try usually works.
IGHunter reads public profile data in your own browser, on your own Instagram session. It never posts, follows, likes or sends messages. If Instagram slows lookups down, the panel tells you and you can try that profile again later.
Yes. IGHunter is made by InsightSocial and signs in to the same account. Saved profiles appear in your InsightSocial dashboard next to your scrapes, and export from there.

A business that publishes an email is inviting contact about its business, but privacy and anti-spam law still applies to you, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM and CCPA. Check the rules that cover you before you send anything, and honour opt-outs.
