Do I need a Pinterest API key or developer app?
No. Pinterest's official API needs an approved developer application and is built mainly around content on your own account, which rules out most research. The extension reads the search results your signed-in browser is already displaying, so there is nothing to register and nothing to wait for.
What Pinterest data can I extract?
Two scrapers, one extension, both starting from a search. The Pin Scraper exports pins with title, description, outbound link, destination domain, board name and URL, reaction count, created date, pin URL, image URL, and the pinner's handle, name and follower count. The Profile Scraper exports the accounts behind a search with username, full name, bio, website link, verified-domain flag, verified merchant status, follower, following, pin and board counts, last pin save time, profile URL and avatar.
Can I scrape a Pinterest board or a single pin?
Not yet. Search is the only supported starting point today. Open a board, a pin page, or a profile and the extension will tell you it is not supported rather than silently collecting nothing. The board a pin belongs to is still exported alongside the pin, so board names appear in your results either way.
Why are pins and profiles separate runs?
Because Pinterest serves them from different parts of its own search, so one run collects one shape of data. Run Pins for the content, then run Profiles on the same query when you want full account detail. Each pin already carries its pinner's handle and follower count, which is often enough on its own.
Does it find email addresses for Pinterest accounts?
No. The Profile Scraper exports the website link an account has published on its own profile, and stops there — it does not visit those sites or produce emails or phone numbers.
What export formats are supported?

Will this get my Pinterest account banned?
