How do I export LinkedIn data to Excel?

Can I scrape LinkedIn without using the API?
Yes. Without partner approval, LinkedIn’s API lets a developer read only the signed-in member’s own name, headline, photo and email; other data needs an approved partner program. The extension instead reads what LinkedIn shows in your own logged-in browser.
Can I export everyone who reacted to a LinkedIn post?
Yes. Open the post and run Reactions: you get one row per person, with their name, headline, profile link, connection degree and the reaction they left (like, celebrate, support, love, insightful or funny). Keep the tab in front while it runs.
Can I scrape LinkedIn comments and replies?
Yes. On a single post, Comments exports the thread as rows: nested replies linked to their parent comment, each commenter’s name and headline, reaction counts by type, and flags for edited, pinned and author comments.
Can I scrape LinkedIn search results or Sales Navigator?
No. Search results, Sales Navigator, hashtags and groups are not supported. Open a company page, profile or post instead.
Is scraping LinkedIn legal?
Collecting publicly visible data for research and analysis is generally allowed, but you are responsible for following LinkedIn’s User Agreement and the laws that apply to you, especially around personal data. InsightSocial only captures what is shown to you on the pages you visit. It never reads messages or InMail.
Will LinkedIn restrict my account?
It is unlikely at normal volumes, but no tool can promise it. The extension never posts, likes, connects or messages for you, and reads at a reading pace. Keep runs to a sensible size.
