Open Chrome Extensions
Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions or click Menu → More Tools → Extensions.

Click "Load unpacked" button and select the folder where you unzipped the extension.

FAQ
Is the direct download safe?
Yes. It's the same build we submit to the Chrome Web Store, sometimes a few days before the store approves it.
Will I get automatic updates?
No. Chrome does not update an extension you loaded yourself. Check this page or the What's New panel for a newer version, or switch to the Chrome Web Store version, which updates itself.
Can I switch to Chrome Web Store version later?
Yes. Remove the unpacked copy, install from the store and sign in again. Your results are saved in your InsightSocial account, so nothing you collected is lost.
Why Developer Mode?
Chrome requires it for extensions outside the Web Store. Standard practice for pre-release versions.
