What is the Twitter Profile Scraper?
InsightSocial's Twitter (X) Profile Scraper is a free Chrome extension that exports what is on an X profile to Excel, CSV, JSON or Google Sheets: the account's posts with likes, reposts, replies, quotes, views and bookmarks, or its followers and following lists. Every follower row carries that account's bio, location, website, follower count and join date. It runs in your own logged-in browser: no X API key.
It works by reading what your own logged-in X session already sees. You open a profile at x.com/username, pick one export in the side panel, and the extension collects it as X loads the page. It never asks for your X password and never shows you anything your account couldn't already see: protected accounts stay protected unless you're an approved follower.

One export per run. Followers and Following open the account's list page for you, so you can start from the profile itself.
Not yet: the profile card of the account you are on (its own bio, counts and join date) as a row of its own. It is coming soon. Until then, a followers or following export gives you those fields for every account in the list.
Working with the file
- Vetting an account. Export its posts and sort by views or likes to see what actually lands, then export its followers to see who it reaches.
- Profiles in bulk. A following list is the quickest way to get bios, locations, websites and counts for many accounts at once. Filter the Bio column for keywords and sort by Followers.
- Comparing accounts. Run the same export on each account and stack the files: the columns are identical.

Can I export an X account's bio, follower count and join date?
Not for the account you are viewing yet. You can get those fields for many accounts at once: export a followers or following list, and every row carries that account's bio, location, website, counts and join date.
Can I scrape protected or private accounts?
You see exactly what X lets your own session see. Public profiles work for everyone. Protected accounts only show their posts and lists to approved followers: if your account is approved, your session sees them and can export them; if not, neither can the scraper.
Do I need to keep the tab open while it runs?
Keep the tab open, but it doesn't have to be in front. Posts, followers, following and likes runs keep going in a background tab while you work in another.
How much does it cost?
Scraping is free and unlimited on every plan. Only exporting is metered, one credit per row, and a row you already exported is free to export again. Free: 500 rows a month. Where does my scraped data go?
Exports download straight to your machine, and every run also syncs to your private account in the portal, where you can re-open and re-export it. Only you can see your data. We never see your X password; the scrape runs inside your own logged-in session.
