InsightSocial vs Adlicio
Adlicio turns comments and reviews into ranked ad angles and hooks, billed per URL. InsightSocial exports the rows themselves, billed per row, from a lower monthly price.
The short answer
Adlicio turns reviews and comments into ranked ad angles and hooks, from $49 a month for 250 URL credits. InsightSocial exports the raw rows (rating, text, date, verified flag, owner reply, reply depth) to Excel or Google Sheets, free up to 500 rows a month and $9.99 for 10,000.
The two read many of the same sites, but they sell different things. Adlicio is customer research for ad creative: it scrapes reviews and comments from more sources than we do (G2, TripAdvisor, the app stores, Shopify store reviews and more), then ranks them into angles, objections and hooks. InsightSocial exports the rows into CSV, Excel, JSON or Google Sheets, metered per exported row. If you want the AI-ranked angles, Adlicio does that and we do not. If you want the data in a spreadsheet, we cost less to start.

Adlicio's credits are charged per URL scraped, not per row, and the cost depends on the source: Steam, Hacker News, Notion, the App Store, Google Play, YouTube and Amazon reviews served from its archive or cache are free; Trustpilot, Quora, Blind, Etsy, Reddit and most comment sources cost 1 credit per URL; a live signed-in Amazon pull costs 2; Google Maps reviews cost 3 to 4 (its credit page describes the full pull as about 200 reviews). That makes Adlicio cheap per review on very large pages, and it is a fair model for research across many sources. InsightSocial meters exported rows instead: a 1,000-review Trustpilot company is 1,000 rows, inside Pro's 10,000 a month, and scraping or re-exporting the same rows costs nothing. One-time packs run from 250 rows for $2 to 25,000 for $39. Adlicio's figures were read on tryadlicio.com's pricing and credit pages on 18 October 2026; plans can also be billed quarterly (15% off) or yearly (33% off). Its sister site redditcommentscraper.com still lists an older price list ($9.99, $49.99 and $99.99 a month).
Check Adlicio’s current pricingAd angles or raw rows
Adlicio's core output is a ranked list of angles, objections and hooks with the customer quotes behind them, built for people writing ad creative. InsightSocial's output is the data: one row per review, comment or reply, with the fields the site provides. Which one you want depends on what happens next. If a model or a person is going to read the reviews anyway, the rows are what you need; if you want the reading done for you, Adlicio is built for that.
- Rows with rating, title, text, date, verified flag and helpful votes on review sites
- Owner, seller and developer replies as their own rows
- Depth and parent on threaded comments (Hacker News, Quora, Product Hunt, Reddit)
- CSV, Excel, JSON or a Google Sheets sync from your dashboard
Per URL or per row: which is cheaper
The two meters favour different jobs. Per URL is cheaper when you pull many large pages: a 5,000-review Trustpilot company costs Adlicio 1 credit, and costs InsightSocial 5,000 exported rows. Per row is cheaper when you work with a handful of pages a month, or when you scrape a lot and export only what you need, because InsightSocial does not charge for scraping at all.
- A few companies or products a month: InsightSocial's free plan or Pro $9.99
- Hundreds of large pages a month: Adlicio's per-URL credits can cost less per review
- Steam, Hacker News and Notion: free on Adlicio; on InsightSocial they use export rows like any other site
- Re-downloading the same rows in another format: free on InsightSocial
What InsightSocial does not do
So you can rule it out quickly: InsightSocial reads one page per run on review sites, does not schedule review-site runs, does not rank or summarise reviews automatically, and covers 10 review and discussion sites, not G2, TripAdvisor or the app stores. On Pro, Ask your data answers plain-English questions about a finished run, but it is not an angle generator.
When Adlicio is the better choice
Adlicio covers more review sources and does analysis we do not. Choose Adlicio when:
- You want reviews and comments ranked into ad angles, objections and hooks, not a spreadsheet
- Your sources include G2, TripAdvisor, the App Store, Google Play, Shopify store reviews, BBB, eBay or Walmart
- You pull many large pages, where per-URL credits cost less per review than per-row exports
- You want ongoing Reddit monitoring (Reddit Radar)
- You want a Claude connector, a CLI or an export API over review sources

Every run lands in your dashboard first, so you can filter before you export.

A lower first price
Free up to 500 exported rows a month, Pro $9.99 for 10,000.
