How to Export Etsy Shop Reviews to a Spreadsheet (2026)

Etsy's shop and listing pages have no review export button; developers can pull any shop's or listing's reviews through the Etsy Open API v3, and without code a browser extension that replays Etsy's "View all reviews" panel exports the reviews with their rating, date, item and seller reply. What an Etsy review export includes

Etsy reviews have no title and no "verified" badge (only buyers can leave a review on Etsy), so those columns stay empty.

The seller's reply is a row at depth 1 under the review it answers, and the star-only review stays as a row with an empty text cell.

Method 1: The Etsy Open API (any shop, with code)

1. Create an app at developers.etsy.com to get an API key. Etsy reviews new apps before the key works beyond your own shop, which can take weeks.
2. Look up the shop's numeric shop_id.
3. Call GET https://openapi.etsy.com/v3/application/shops/{shop_id}/reviews with your key in the x-api-key header and limit=100, then raise offset by 100 until no more reviews come back.
4. Write the results to CSV.

Check the fields it returns against what you need; it is built for developers, not for a spreadsheet.

Method 2: A Chrome extension (any shop or listing)

With InsightSocial's Etsy Review Scraper:

1. Install InsightSocial and sign in with Google.
2. Open the listing or the shop: any etsy.com/listing/… page for that item's reviews, or etsy.com/shop/… for the reviews across everything the shop sells. Country paths such as /uk/ or /de/ work too. No Etsy account is needed.

Finish the check on the page and run it again.

Method 3: Cloud scrapers

• Shop runs for the big picture, listing runs for one product. A shop export names the item on each row, so you can pivot reviews by product.
• Separate seller replies before you count or average.
• Photos: filter to rows with a photo link to find buyer images you can ask permission to reuse.
• Watch the trend. Group by month; a sudden run of 3-star reviews often points to one listing or a supplier change.

Troubleshooting

"Etsy's bot check stopped the run". Reload the page, complete any check Etsy shows, then run it again.

Fewer reviews than the shop shows. Long shops can stop at Etsy's bot check or the 5,000-review cap; the run says "Stopped at 5,000 reviews — Etsy lists N" when the cap is the reason.

The listing's count differs from the shop's. A listing shows its own reviews; a shop shows reviews across all its items.
