Best Free Review Scraper Chrome Extensions (2026)
The best free review scraper Chrome extension depends on the site: for one site, a single-site exporter such as T-Reviews Scraper (Trustpilot) or Steam Review Scraper is the simplest; for several review sites in one tool, InsightSocial (10 review and discussion sites, free up to 500 exported rows a month) or Adlicio's extension (more sites, $49.99 a month for all of them) fit; and for any other site, the free Instant Data Scraper turns a visible list into a CSV but loses review structure. Free tiers differ in shape: some cap reviews per click, some cap rows per month, and some are free outright.
Updated October 2026. We make InsightSocial, so we are not neutral; this list includes the free and official routes, and says where another tool is the better fit. We have not benchmarked the other extensions: the figures for them are what their own Chrome Web Store listings and pricing pages said when we checked in October 2026.

How we picked
We looked for Chrome extensions that export reviews (not just ratings) to a file, are listed on the Chrome Web Store or their own site, and have a free way to start. For each one we read its Chrome Web Store listing and pricing page in October 2026: the sites it supports, the free limit, the paid price and the user count. We did not run head-to-head tests of other extensions, so this list does not rank them on speed or completeness. Where a site has a free official route (Steam's public reviews endpoint, Trustpilot's export for business owners), we say so first.
Free official routes to try first
Before installing anything:
- Steam: Steam's
GetAppReviewsWeb API returns any game's reviews as JSON without a key. See how to export Steam reviews. - Hacker News: the Algolia and Firebase APIs return whole threads. See how to download all comments from a Hacker News thread.
- Trustpilot: business owners can export their own company's reviews from Trustpilot Business. See how to export Trustpilot reviews.
- Google: owners can pull their own locations' reviews through the Business Profile API (needs a developer and Google's approval). See how to export Google reviews.
If the reviews are not yours, or you do not want to write code, an extension is the shortest route.
InsightSocial: several review sites in one extension
InsightSocial exports reviews and comments from 10 review and discussion sites, alongside its nine social platforms: Trustpilot, Amazon, Google Maps, Etsy, Steam, Product Hunt, Hacker News, Quora, Blind and Notion.
Each site has its own extractor, so the columns are the site's real fields: rating, title, text, date, verified flag and helpful votes on review sites, and depth and parent on threaded comments. Owner, seller and developer replies are rows of their own under the review they answer. Most sites page over HTTP and keep going in a background tab; Google Maps needs its tab in front.
Free tier: scraping and reading results in the dashboard are unlimited; exporting uses one credit per row, 500 a month free, and a row you already exported is free to export again. Pro is $9.99 a month (or $7.99 billed yearly) for 10,000 rows.
Limits: one page per run (no list of URLs), no scheduling for review sites, and per-site caps: Trustpilot's 10-pages-per-filter limit is split by language and stars but very large companies often stop short; Amazon needs you signed in and serves at most about 1,200 reviews per product; Google Maps needs Google sign-in and stops at 5,000; Steam stops at the 10,000 newest.
Best for: people who need reviews from more than one of these sites and want the replies and fields kept, without paying per review.
Instant Data Scraper: free, any site
Instant Data Scraper detects the biggest list or table on the page and downloads it as CSV or Excel. Its listing showed 1,000,000 users and a 4.9-star rating from about 7,800 ratings. It is free, needs no account, and works on sites no review-specific tool supports.
Limits: it reads what is rendered, so star ratings (usually images) and owner replies (inside the review block) do not come out as clean columns, and nested replies are flattened. You point it at the "Next" button or let it scroll.
Best for: a one-off table from a site no review extension covers. Our Instant Data Scraper comparison goes deeper.
Adlicio and Comment Exporter: the widest coverage
Adlicio's extension (sold as Reddit Comment Scraper on redditcommentscraper.com) reads more review and comment sources than any other extension here, including Yelp, G2, TripAdvisor, the app stores and Shopify store reviews, and its web app ranks what it scrapes into ad angles, objections and hooks. The extension installs free; Pro is $9.99 a month for Reddit, and All Access is $49.99 a month for 250 credits across its 30 sources, charged per URL (checked on its site, October 2026). Its Chrome Web Store listing showed 7,000 users and a 4.6 rating from 43 ratings.
Best for: marketers mining many review sources for ad copy. See our Adlicio comparison.
reviewsextractor.com: B2B software reviews
reviewsextractor.com exports reviews from 15+ sites: Trustpilot, Amazon and Etsy plus B2B software sites (G2, Capterra, the Shopify App Store, TrustRadius and others). Free extractions return 25 reviews, on G2, Trustpilot and Capterra only; Starter is $9 a month for one site at up to 2,500 reviews per extraction, $15 for all sites, $25 adds AI sentiment and themes, and $99 adds weekly monitoring.
Best for: SaaS teams exporting G2 or Capterra reviews, which InsightSocial does not cover.
T-Reviews Scraper: Trustpilot only
T-Reviews Scraper exports Trustpilot reviews, companies and ratings. Its listing showed 478 users and a 4.2-star rating, free with in-app purchases.
Best for: Trustpilot-only exports, if you do not need other sites.
Product review export: Amazon and Etsy
Product review export covers Amazon and Etsy and had about 5,000 users and a 4.1-star rating. Free with in-app purchases.
Best for: Amazon and Etsy sellers who only need those two sites.
Amazon Reviews Exporter (amazonreviews.cc): Amazon with images
amazonreviews.cc's free tier exports 10 reviews per click, with review images and videos, a CSV formatted for Shopify import and unlimited downloads; Pro, $9.99 a month (shown as reduced from $19), exports 100 per click.
Best for: dropshippers importing Amazon reviews with photos into a Shopify store. InsightSocial does not export review images.
Etsy Reviews Extractor: Etsy only
Etsy Reviews Extractor exports Etsy reviews to CSV and adds an AI summary. Its listing showed 679 users and a 4.0-star rating, free.
Best for: a quick Etsy export with a summary.
Steam Review Scraper: Steam only
Steam Review Scraper exports Steam reviews to Excel, CSV, JSON, HTML or XML. Its listing showed 141 users and a 5.0 rating from 2 ratings; it is free with in-app purchases and was last updated in August 2024. Steam's own GetAppReviews API is also free, if you can run a script.
Best for: Steam reviews without code or an account.

Which one should you pick?
- One review site, a few hundred reviews: the single-site extension for that site, or the site's free official route.
- Several of Trustpilot, Amazon, Google Maps, Etsy, Steam and Product Hunt, with replies kept: InsightSocial.
- Hacker News, Quora, Blind or Notion: InsightSocial or Adlicio; almost nothing else covers them.
- G2, Capterra, Yelp, TripAdvisor or the app stores: Adlicio, reviewsextractor.com or a single-site extension; InsightSocial does not cover them.
- Any other site, once: Instant Data Scraper.
- Many companies or places on a schedule: not an extension at all; use a cloud tool such as Outscraper or Apify.
FAQ
Is there a free Chrome extension that scrapes reviews from multiple sites? Yes. InsightSocial covers 10 review and discussion sites with a free tier of 500 exported rows a month. Instant Data Scraper is free and works on any site but does not understand review fields.
What is the best free Trustpilot review scraper extension? For Trustpilot alone, T-Reviews Scraper is a dedicated free option. InsightSocial also splits Trustpilot's listing by language and star rating to get past its 10-pages-per-filter limit. Trustpilot Business owners can export their own reviews without any extension.
Can a Chrome extension scrape Google Maps reviews? Yes, if you are signed in to Google: signed out, Maps shows only a few reviews. InsightSocial reads up to 5,000 reviews of the place you open, with the tab in front.
Are free review scrapers safe to use? Check the permissions an extension asks for. InsightSocial asks Chrome for each review site only the first time you use it. Extensions that run in your own browser at browsing pace do not hand your session to a server.
Which review extensions do sentiment analysis? reviewsextractor.com sells sentiment and themes from $25 a month, Adlicio ranks reviews into ad angles, and some single-site extensions add an AI summary. InsightSocial has no sentiment column in the export. On Pro, Ask your data answers sentiment and theme questions about a finished run.
