How to Export Trustpilot Reviews to CSV or Excel (2026)
To export Trustpilot reviews, use Trustpilot Business's own export if the company is yours; for any other company page, use a scraper that pages through the reviews for you, because Trustpilot shows signed-out visitors at most 10 pages per filter (about 200 reviews at 20 per page) and has no public export button. A filter-splitting tool such as the InsightSocial Chrome extension goes through each language and star rating separately to reach further, keeps the company's replies as separate rows, and exports to CSV, Excel, JSON or Google Sheets, free up to 500 rows a month.

Can you export Trustpilot reviews directly?
Only for your own company, and only on some plans. Trustpilot's help centre says the review export "is included in the Premium and Enterprise plans" of Trustpilot Business (checked October 2026). Trustpilot also limits how its reviews may be shown on other platforms, so treat the official export as a file for analysing your own reviews, and check Trustpilot's guidelines before you copy them onto your website.
There is no export button on a public company page. Anyone can read trustpilot.com/review/<domain>, but nothing on it downloads the list, so for a competitor, a supplier or a whole category you need a tool that reads the pages for you.
Why Trustpilot exports stop at around 200 reviews
The most common complaint about Trustpilot scrapers is that they return about 200 reviews and stop, even when the company has 20,000. A September 2026 thread on r/scrapingtheweb ("Is it actually possible to scrape more than 200 Trustpilot reviews??") is exactly this: the poster tried two cloud tools and hit the same wall.
The cause is Trustpilot itself. Signed out, a company's review list goes to at most 10 pages per filter, at 20 reviews a page. Page 11 sends you to Trustpilot's login page instead (we checked in October 2026). Every tool that reads the public pages inherits that ceiling, unless it changes the filter.
That is the trick: the 10-page limit applies per filter, so the same company viewed as "English, 1 star", "English, 2 stars", "German, 5 stars" and so on is a separate list of up to 10 pages each. A tool that walks every language and star rating separately reaches far more than 200 reviews, and then removes the duplicates.
It still does not always reach every review. On a very large company, some combinations of language and rating hold more than 10 pages on their own. In our own runs in October 2026, a company with 83 reviews returned all 83 (plus its 5 replies) in 4 to 7 seconds, and a company with 20,624 reviews returned 4,994 of them. Be suspicious of any tool that promises "every review" from public pages.
What data a Trustpilot export includes
A good Trustpilot export gives you one row per review with:
- Rating: 1 to 5 stars, as a number
- Title and review text, line breaks kept
- Reviewer name and country
- Date of the review and, where shown, the date of the experience
- Verified flag, when Trustpilot marks the review as verified
- Helpful votes
- Language of the review
- The company's reply, ideally as its own row linked to the review it answers, so you can count or exclude replies
- Permalink to the review
At the page level you also want the TrustScore, the total review count and the star distribution, so you can compare what you exported with what Trustpilot reports.
Fields Trustpilot does not show on the public page are not in any scraper's export.
What the rows look like

Method 1: Trustpilot Business export (your own company)
If the company is yours and you are on the right plan, this is the cleanest route: it is Trustpilot's own file, filtered by date range.
- Sign in to Trustpilot Business.
- Go to Manage reviews > Service reviews and open the inbox.
- Click Export and choose a date range.
- Click Download .csv.
On plans below Premium the option is not there, and you are back to the methods below.
When it is not enough: it only covers companies you own and needs a Premium or Enterprise plan, so it cannot help with competitor research, and Trustpilot's guidelines limit republishing the exported reviews elsewhere.
Method 2: The Trustpilot API
Trustpilot offers developer APIs to its business customers, documented at developers.trustpilot.com, for working with your own company's reviews, invitations and widgets. Access comes through a Trustpilot Business account, so for pulling another company's reviews into a spreadsheet the API is not the practical route.
Method 3: Cloud scrapers for many companies at once
Cloud tools run on their own servers, take a list of company URLs and return a file or call your webhook. This is the right shape when you need dozens of companies, a schedule, or an API.
- Apify actors. Several independent developers publish Trustpilot scrapers on the Apify Store, billed per review. On Apify's own listings in October 2026: Automation Lab's Trustpilot Reviews Scraper (about 870 users in the last 30 days) cost $0.575 per 1,000 reviews on Apify's free plan; memo23's Trustpilot All Reviews Scraper (about 690 users) $0.75 per 1,000, and it says it gets "past the ~200-review web cap"; Black Falcon Data's a flat $0.25 per 1,000, with the same claim. Prices fall on Apify's paid tiers, and the free plan includes $5 of usage a month.
- Outscraper. Pay as you go. Its Trustpilot page, as archived in December 2025 (the live site blocks automated checks), listed the first 100 reviews free, then $3 per 1,000 up to 50,000 and $1 per 1,000 beyond, and it takes lists of companies through its web app and API.
- ExportComments. Paste a company URL into the web app. Its Trustpilot page says the free tier returns up to 100 reviews per business, and the paid plans 5,000, 50,000 or 250,000 per export (Personal $23 one-off for 3 days, Premium $45/month, Business $199/month, checked October 2026).
Check each tool's own output against the company's review count before you trust it. Trustpilot's per-filter limit applies to cloud tools reading public pages just as it does to anything else.
Method 4: A Chrome extension for any company page
If you want the reviews of one company at a time, without a cloud account or code, a browser extension is the shortest route. Here is how it works with InsightSocial's Trustpilot Review Scraper:
- Install InsightSocial from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with Google.
- Open the company's review page, any
trustpilot.com/review/<domain>address, on trustpilot.com or a country site such as uk.trustpilot.com or de.trustpilot.com. The side panel names the company it found. - Allow Trustpilot once. The first time, Chrome asks you to let InsightSocial read trustpilot.com. It asks for that one site, only when you use it.
- Click Scrape. The extension reads the review pages over HTTP, goes through each language and star rating to get past the 10-page limit, and counts as it goes. On large companies it collects about 40 reviews a second, and you can switch to another tab while it runs. Stop keeps everything collected so far.
- Export from your dashboard. The run lands in your InsightSocial dashboard, where you can search and filter it, then export to CSV, Excel, JSON or Google Sheets.
You do not need a Trustpilot account or an API key: the extension reads the same public pages any visitor sees. Signed in to Trustpilot, each filter goes deeper than 10 pages, so you get more of a large company. A run stops after about 3 minutes and keeps what it collected. Each run covers one company; open the next company and run it again.
What it costs: scraping and reading results in the dashboard are free on every plan. Exporting uses one credit per row. The free plan includes 500 a month; Pro is $9.99 a month (or $7.99 a month billed yearly) for 10,000; Studio is $49 a month for 150,000; and one-time packs run from 250 rows for $2 to 25,000 for $39. A row you already exported is free to export again, so re-downloading the same company as Excel after CSV costs nothing. A company with 2,000 reviews and 300 company replies is 2,300 rows: inside Pro's monthly allowance, or a one-time pack.
Export formats: CSV, Excel or Google Sheets
- CSV opens anywhere and is what most analysis tools want. Make sure it is UTF-8, or reviews in German, French or Polish arrive with broken accents in Excel.
- Excel (.xlsx) keeps dates as dates and avoids the encoding question entirely.
- Google Sheets is the easiest to share with a team or connect to Looker Studio.
- JSON suits a script or a database import.
Whichever you choose, keep the company replies in their own rows, or filter them out before you average the ratings: a reply is not a review.
Working with large Trustpilot datasets
- Split by star rating first. One- and two-star reviews are usually what you want to read in full; five-star reviews are useful for counts and language.
- Use the language column. Large companies collect reviews in many languages. Filter to the ones your team reads, or translate in bulk afterwards.
- Compare the count with the page. The export's row count against Trustpilot's own total tells you how much of the company you have.
- De-duplicate on the permalink if you merge runs from several days.
- Trend by month. Group the review dates by month to see whether complaints are growing, not just what they say.
Troubleshooting
The export stops at 200 reviews. That is Trustpilot's 10-pages-per-filter limit for signed-out visitors. Sign in to Trustpilot, use a tool that splits the list by language and star rating, or accept that you have the newest 200.
Fewer reviews than the company's total. Some reviews are hidden by Trustpilot (under investigation, reported, removed), and on very large companies even a filter-splitting run stops short. Check the star distribution in your export against the page.
Accents look broken in Excel. Open the CSV through Excel's Data > From Text/CSV and pick UTF-8, or export as .xlsx.
Starting from a country site. A company's page on uk.trustpilot.com or de.trustpilot.com works as the starting page, the same as on www.trustpilot.com.
FAQ
Can I export Trustpilot reviews for free? For your own company, Trustpilot Business includes an export on its Premium and Enterprise plans. For any company page, InsightSocial's free plan exports up to 500 rows a month, and ExportComments' free tier returns up to 100 reviews per business.
Is there a Trustpilot review limit of 200? Yes, in practice. Signed out, Trustpilot shows at most 10 pages of reviews per filter, about 200 reviews. Tools that read the pages one filter at a time, by language and star rating, get past it, though not always to every review on very large companies.
Can I export a competitor's Trustpilot reviews? Yes. Reviews on Trustpilot company pages are public, so a scraper can read them, but Trustpilot's own export only covers companies you own. Check Trustpilot's terms and your local data-protection rules for how you use reviewer names.
Are the company's replies included? In InsightSocial, yes: each reply is its own row under the review it answers, labelled as an owner reply, and the run summary counts them apart.
Does signing in to Trustpilot get more reviews? Yes. Signed in, each language and star filter pages past 10, so large companies return more. A run still stops after about 3 minutes.
Do I need a Trustpilot account or API key? Not for public company pages. You need a Trustpilot Business account (Premium or Enterprise) only for the official export of your own reviews.
How do I export reviews from many Trustpilot companies at once? Use a cloud tool that takes a list of URLs, such as an Apify actor or Outscraper. InsightSocial runs one company page at a time.
Does InsightSocial analyse sentiment? No sentiment column in the export. On Pro, Ask your data answers sentiment and theme questions about a finished run, such as how many one-star reviews mention refunds.
