Best Amazon Review Scrapers and Exporters (2026)

The best Amazon review scraper depends on volume and on Amazon's sign-in wall: for one product at a time, a Chrome extension that uses your own signed-in Amazon session works best (InsightSocial reads up to about 1,200 reviews per product across star filters and sorts, free up to 500 exported rows a month; single-site exporters such as amazonreviews.cc start free at 10 reviews per click); for hundreds of ASINs, cloud tools such as Apify's Amazon Reviews Scraper ($6 per 1,000 reviews on Apify's free plan, down to $1) or Bright Data ($1.50 per 1,000 records) are the right shape. Signed out, Amazon now shows only the dozen or so reviews on the product page, so any tool that does not sign in returns very few.

Updated October 2026. We make InsightSocial, so we are not neutral. This list includes the free and open-source options, names the single-site extensions that rank for these searches, and says where a cloud tool is the better fit. We have not benchmarked other tools; their prices, limits, user counts and ratings are what their own pages, Apify listings and Chrome Web Store listings said when we checked in October 2026.

Why Amazon review scraping changed

Amazon now shows its full review pages only to signed-in shoppers. Signed out, you see the product page's few reviews: in our own runs in October 2026, 13 on a typical product, sometimes none on amazon.com. Many older tutorials and scripts were written before that, which is why they return almost nothing today.

Signed in, there is still a ceiling: Amazon serves at most 10 pages of 10 reviews for each sort order and star filter. Tools that read each star rating under both "Top reviews" and "Most recent" reach well beyond 100 reviews, but not tens of thousands. Amazon may also limit review access for an account that reads many pages.

How we put this list together

We looked at the extensions that rank for "Amazon review scraper", "exporter", "extractor" and "downloader", the Apify actors with the most users, and the cloud APIs that publish Amazon review prices. For each we read its own listing or pricing page in October 2026. We did not run other vendors' tools, so this is not a ranking by completeness; where Chrome Web Store ratings are low, we say so, because that is what users report.

InsightSocial: every star filter, 20 storefronts

InsightSocial's Amazon Review Scraper is a Chrome extension. Sign in to Amazon, open a product page, click Scrape. It reads the product page, then the review pages in 12 views: top and most recent unfiltered, then each star rating from 1 to 5 under both sorts, up to 10 pages each. That is up to about 1,200 reviews per product before duplicates are removed, within a 6-minute run, and it keeps going in a background tab.

It works on 20 Amazon storefronts (amazon.com, .co.uk, .ca, .de, .fr, .it, .es, .nl, .se, .pl, .com.tr, .ae, .sa, .eg, .in, .co.jp, .com.au, .sg, .com.br and .com.mx), reading ratings, dates and helpful counts in each storefront's language. Each row has the rating, title, text, reviewer, date, country, verified-purchase flag, helpful votes and variant, and the original text when Amazon shows a translation. When Amazon's per-filter ceiling cuts a view short, or Amazon limits review access for the account, the panel says so and keeps what it collected.

Price: scraping is free; exporting uses one credit per row. Free includes 500 rows a month, Pro $9.99 a month (or $7.99 billed yearly) includes 10,000, Studio $49 includes 150,000. Re-exporting a row is free.

Limits: one product per run, no list of ASINs, no review images, no API or scheduling for Amazon.

Best for: sellers and researchers comparing a handful of competitor products, who want the low-star reviews read in full and the same tool for other review sites.

amazonreviews.cc (Amazon Reviews Exporter)

A single-site extension with its own site. Free exports 10 reviews per click, with review images and videos, a CSV formatted for Shopify import and unlimited downloads; Pro, $9.99 a month (shown as reduced from $19), raises that to 100 per click (checked on its site, October 2026).

Best for: dropshippers importing Amazon reviews with photos into a Shopify store.

Amazon Reviews Extractor

One of the most installed Amazon review extensions: its listing showed 20,000 users, a 2.6 rating from 24 ratings, and free basic features with a paid tier for more (October 2026).

Best for: trying a free extraction quickly. Read the recent reviews on its listing first.

Amazon Reviews Exporter (CSV & Images)

Its listing showed 10,000 users and a 2.7 rating from 90 ratings: free CSV download, and a Pro plan for unlimited review downloads, images and filters. The listing was last updated in July 2025.

Best for: exports that need review images.

Amazon Review Scraper – Export to CSV

Its listing showed 3,000 users and a 2.8 rating: it "extracts up to 35 reviews at a time", with a paid plan for unlimited reviews.

Best for: small exports of a product's top reviews.

Product review export

Covers Amazon and Etsy; its listing showed about 5,000 users and a 4.1 rating from 25 ratings. Free with in-app purchases.

Best for: sellers who work on both Amazon and Etsy.

Apify actors: bulk ASINs in the cloud

  • junglee, Amazon Reviews Scraper: about 2,200 users in the last 30 days. $6 per 1,000 reviews on Apify's free plan, falling to $1 on Apify's top tier, with a date filter at extra cost.
  • Axesso, Amazon Reviews Scraper: about 700 users. A flat $0.90 per 1,000 reviews.
  • web_wanderer, Amazon Reviews Extractor: about 860 users. $1 per 1,000 on the free plan, down to $0.70.

They take lists of products and run on Apify's schedules and API. Apify's free plan includes $5 of usage a month.

Best for: brands and agencies tracking dozens or hundreds of ASINs.

Outscraper

Outscraper's pricing page, as archived in June 2026, lists Amazon reviews free for the first 500 a month, then $2 per 1,000 up to 5,000 and $1 per 1,000 after, with API access. The live site blocks automated visitors, so we could not re-check it in October 2026.

Best for: teams already using Outscraper who want Amazon on the same account. See our Outscraper comparison.

Bright Data

Bright Data's Amazon reviews scraper API uses its Web Scraper API pricing: 5,000 records a month free, then $1.50 per 1,000 records pay as you go, or $499 a month with 384,000 records included (checked October 2026).

Best for: enterprise collection across many products and marketplaces.

ExportComments

ExportComments exports Amazon reviews from a product URL in its web app: free up to 100 results per export and 50 exports a month, Personal $23 once for 3 days at up to 5,000 per export, Premium $45 a month at up to 50,000 (checked October 2026).

Best for: an occasional one-off export.

Open-source scripts

GitHub has Amazon review scrapers such as philipperemy/amazon-reviews-scraper (about 130 stars, Apache-2.0). Most were written for signed-out pages; today they need a signed-in session, pacing and captcha handling to return more than a few reviews.

Best for: developers who want to learn how the pages work and accept the maintenance.

FAQ

What is the best free Amazon review scraper? In the cloud, Apify's free $5 a month and Outscraper's 500 free reviews a month (archived June 2026 pricing) are the free starting points. In the browser, single-site extensions have free tiers that cap reviews per click, and InsightSocial's free plan exports 500 rows a month.

Why does my Amazon review scraper only return a few reviews? Amazon shows its full review pages only to signed-in shoppers. Sign in to Amazon in the browser, or use a cloud service that handles sign-in.

How many reviews can I scrape per Amazon product? Amazon serves at most 100 reviews per sort and star filter. Reading every star rating under two sorts gives up to about 1,200; cloud tools may combine more filters.

Do Amazon review exporters include the Verified Purchase badge? InsightSocial does, in a Verified column. For other tools, check a sample export before you rely on it.

Can I download Amazon reviews with images? Some single-site extensions export review images (amazonreviews.cc, Amazon Reviews Exporter (CSV & Images)). InsightSocial exports text and fields only.

Is it safe to scrape Amazon reviews with my account? A browser extension reads pages at browsing pace with your session. Amazon may still limit review access for an account that reads many pages; a careful tool stops at that notice.
