Facebook Profile Events API
Returns a Facebook page's upcoming and past events, each with a title, link, the start time, the venue, the city, the rendered time line, and the cancelled, past and online flags.
10–90 credits, metered · cursor pagination · failed calls free · 10 free calls to start
curl "https://api.insightsocial.app/v1/facebook/profile/events?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fbrickyardoldtown" \-H "x-api-key: $INSIGHTSOCIAL_API_KEY"
When to use it
Use it for one page's own events; events covers a city. The start time sits on published_at and is often in the future. Optional include=details adds the description, hosts, cover and RSVP counts.
Parameters
Query parameters for GET /v1/facebook/profile/events. Send your key in the x-api-key header.
| Name | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| url | Yes | Full URL of the public Facebook page. |
| cursor | No | Cursor returned by the previous response for pagination. |
| include | No | Set to details (one token only) to fill, on every event in this one call, post.ext.event.description, address, latitude, longitude, hosts, host_context_text, category, privacy, attendance_count, interested_count and going_count, the cover image on post.content.thumbnail_url, and the RSVP counts on post.engagement.views (interested) and .likes (going). Without it the call is unchanged. |

How much does the Facebook Profile Events API cost?
Metered: 10–90 credits a call. The ceiling is reserved when the call starts and you are charged what it actually read.
Failed calls are free

Add dry_run=1 and the response quotes the call without making it. Nothing is charged.
One balance
API calls and Chrome extension exports share the same credits, on the free plan too.

No. There is no Facebook app, OAuth flow or app review. One InsightSocial API key works for this endpoint and every other platform, and your first 10 calls priced at 100 credits or less are free.
This endpoint pages. Each response carries pagination.next_cursor and pagination.has_more. Send next_cursor back unchanged as the cursor parameter and stop when has_more is false. Every page is a separate call and is charged as one.
You get an error or an empty result, and it costs 0 credits. The API reads public Facebook data only, so private accounts and deleted content come back as not found rather than as partial data.
